- The
Principles of Marketing Research - This independent
study program was created in response to educational needs
expressed by the marketing research industry. It was developed
by the Marketing Research Institute International (MRII) in
conjunction with the University of Georgia using teams of
academicians and practitioners. The foundation of the program
is the Marketing Research Core Body of Knowledge (MRCBOK)
designed to teach skills in marketing basics, planning and
research, research design, sampling, data collection methods,
measurement instruments, data collection skills, data analysis,
communicating research results and research management.

- MRA offers a series of local seminars and workshops to enhance your knowledge of opinion and marketing research, such as the Qualitative Recruiting Workshop

- Conferences
- MRA sponsors two National Conferences: the Annual Conference & Symposium, held in the Spring, and the Fall Education Conference &
Technology Forum. When you attend these meetings, you will:
discover the latest tools and how to apply them to your business;
develop skills and expand your knowledge of marketing research;
and establish a network of research professionals.
- Twelve
local chapters nationwide supplement your National membership and
provide education, networking and problem solving at the regional
level. They are the foundation for national leadership.
Professional
Standards and Best Business Practices
- Code
of Data Collection Standards - Set forth by our Professional
Standards Committee with standardized procedures for filing
ethics complaints. All MRA members are required to sign an
agreement endorsing the Code.
- Best
Business Practices - A companion to our Code of Data
Collection Standards, these ideals are presented to guide
marketing researchers in providing professional, ethical and
reliable products and services.
- Internet Ethics Guidelines
Legislative
and Respondent Cooperation Advocacy
- Legislative
Committee - monitors and assesses government activity
concerning the marketing and opinion research industry.
- Industry
Action Council
- acts on behalf of our members for those issues deemed important,
specifically respondent cooperation, legislative actions,
and professional Standards, as well as keeps members informed
on these important issues.
