GLOSSARY OF TERMS

This glossary contains the opinion and marketing research terminology recommended by MRA. This profession has a language all its own, incorporating unique words, phrases, abbreviations and acronyms, some used interchangeably. This glossary attempts to show all the commonly used standard abbreviations, as well as relationships between words or terms often used interchangeably.

This glossary is considered a work in progress, with additions and updates added continually. It is MRA's belief that the more we all speak the same language, the better our communication will be.
