Glossary
This
document represents Marketing Research Association's recommended
list of terminology for marketing and opinion research. This industry
has a language all its own, incorporating many unique words and
phrases. You will find many words used interchangeably. In addition,
the industry is full of abbreviations and acronyms. This glossary
attempts to show all the standard abbreviations commonly used in
our industry, and many of the relationships between words or terms
that are used interchangeably. Additionally, this glossary is considered
a work in progress with additions and updates added continually.
It is MRA's belief that the more we all speak the same language,
the better our communication will be.
