Costing Quantitative Live Interview and Web Data Collection
This course is designed for the experienced marketing research manager whose
job responsibilities include costing market and opinion research data collection
activities. Although an emphasis will be placed on quantitative modes such as
live telephone interviewing and Internet instruments, the techniques learned can
be used in a wide variety of cost accounting applications.
Participants will be given an overview of managerial accounting, process and
job costing, cost-volume-profit analysis, activity based costing, research data
collection process, algorithms for live telephone interviewing and web based data
collection. Real world examples will also be used to illustrate how the concepts
can be applied to make better decisions.
