MRA Staff Interviews 14 PRCs at Annual Conference for "I Am PRC" video and podcast

As part of MRA's "I Am PRC" promotional campaign, 14 PRCs found themselves in front of the camera at this year's Annual Conference. The purpose of the filming session was to produce an "I Am PRC" video and podcast which will highlight the professional and personal benefits of this prestigious industry credential.

The "I Am PRC" campaign features market researchers with different backgrounds who share a common status: Professional Research Certification.

The interviewees broke away temporarily from the President's Reception on Wednesday, June 4th for a 10-20 minute interview that was videotaped by MRA Director of Communications, Bruce Mendelsohn. Participating PRCs stated why the credential is important to them and the reasons why it should be important to their fellow survey and opinion research professionals.

PRC has profoundly impacted the careers of these dedicated professionals, a fact clearly and convincingly conveyed in each interview. The interviews will be combined into a 5-7 minute video that will be featured on the PRC Web site, PRC MySpace page and on YouTube—as well as in other promotional and informational communications vehicles.

Excerpts from interviews conducted during the "I Am PRC" campaign are also featured on the PRC Web site, in a new PRC 2.0 brochure and in "I Am PRC" print advertisements.

The "I Am PRC" campaign is intended to resonate among current and prospective PRCs by reinforcing and publicizing the professional pride and elite status PRC conveys.
