Dear PRC,

Since the launch of the PRC program in 2005, the program has continued to grow and develop year after year. As we wrap up 2009, I would like to dedicate this issue to all the great things that happened with the PRC program over the past year. 

In 2009:

• The PRC Beta Exam was administered during MRA’s Annual Conference in Chicago.
• A new product line of PRC Certificate frames and PRC polo shirts were released.
• A PRC newsletter to keep every PRC up-to-date with the latest news and information was launched. 
• We started a social networking community to help fellow PRCs with their questions and help others become aware of the program.
• Volunteers and MRA staff attended and helped with the AMA and the PMRG conferences to scan PRC approved education.

With the dedication and commitment of our volunteers, we continue to strive to improve and advance the PRC program.  In this issue we will also spotlight a few upcoming enhancements and features for 2010.

Spotlight on PRC

2010 PRC Spotlights Include:

• A new design to the PRC newsletter-including a special of the week, PRC profiles and articles.
• Even more PRC approved education - offering companies an opportunity to become PRC providers of education.
• PRCs will soon have an opportunity to help the program grow by becoming a proctor.
• PRCs can administer or host a PRC exam in their local area.

How can I enhance my PRC recognition?

There are many ways to promote your PRC Certification. Below is a list of items that can help promote your status to your clients:

• Use the designation "PRC" after your name on all correspondence to designate your status.
• Add PRC to your business card.
• Use the "PRC" logo as part of your e-mail signature.
• Show your PRC card when meeting with clients and potential business partners.
• Hang your PRC certificate in a visible place of honor in your office.
• Include your PRC information in your personnel file at your company.
• Seek or accept speaking engagements that will promote you as "PRC" and give you and your company more exposure.
• Volunteer a testimonial to MRA to use in its promotional material for the program.
• Add the PRC designation to your MRA Blue Book ad next to your name.
• Join the PRC only online social networking sites: Facebook and LinkedIn.

PRC Conference Form
Are you attending a conference that has not been PRC approved? Don’t forget to bring your form. Each session must have a session description and signature from the presenter or a staff member from the organization. This form will allow you to obtain all the presenter's signatures on one document.

Check your Record
Have you checked your online record recently? Did you know you can submit all your contact hours and update your personal information on your PRC record at any time?

Renew
Is your Certification coming up for renewal, and you are uncertain whether or not you have met your education requirements?
