Recession or Recovery, are You Prepared for What Comes Next?

Wednesday, February 10, 2010
3:15 - 4:15 pm

Dr. Chris Kuehl, Managing Director, Amada Corporate Intelligence

The recession of 2008-09 has come to an end but the recovery has been anything but robust. The challenge in the next year will be identifying what has really changed and what will return to past patterns. Will the new frugality be permanent? Will there be a double dip recession? Will the next threat come from inflation and what will be the reaction? There is considerably more engagement by the government in this economy - what does that mean and how will that change the reactions of business and consumers? As these questions and others are considered, the session will try to get a handle on what to expect in the coming year.

During this highly informative session attendees will:

  1. Determine what has been driving the recession and the subsequent recovery.
  2. Understand the dynamics of the global economy and its implications for the U.S.
  3. Get a sense of what is coming in 2010.
