Attention New Members and First Time Attendees: We would like to introduce our Buddy Program to you. The program’s purpose is to make new members and first time attendees feel welcome and comfortable at the Conference. |
| How does it Work? |
| If you participate in The Buddy Program, you will be paired with a member who has been to Conferences before, who is familiar with MRA, and who really wants to share their Conference experience with a new member or first time attendee. Once paired, your Buddy will contact you to say hello and set up a time and place to meet at the Conference. |
|
Your Buddy is a Resource |
You can also ask your Buddy questions about MRA and what to expect at the Conference. Your Buddy is a resource and a contact that can introduce you to some of their friends and colleagues. The amount of time you spend with your Buddy is completely up to you; so don't feel that you are obligated to spend the entire Conference with him or her. |

New Member/First Time Attendee Reception |
| There will be a New Member/First Time Attendee Reception for all new members and first time attendees Wednesday, November 9th from 5:00 to 6:00pm. If you choose to be paired with a Buddy, your Buddy will attend the reception as well. Your Buddy can introduce you to other members to heighten your networking experience. MRA Staff, National Board Members and Chapter Presidents/Representatives also attend the reception. |
